Imani Blooms Garden, rooted on Detroit’s Eastside, is a small-scale diversified cut‑flower operation grounded in the brilliance and resilience of Black agricultural traditions.

 The garden is more than a place where flowers grow—it is a living, breathing space dedicated to cultivating creativity, community care and Black joy!

Through vibrant bloom production, ancestral plant medicine education, and immersive experiences that reconnect our communities with Mother Earth, Imani Blooms cultivates Black joy while honoring the enduring legacy of Black agricultural genius. 

We steward land with intention, celebrate our heritage, and sow pathways toward collective healing and liberation.

Imani is a mother, farmer, and food systems and sustainability specialist. She is a budding ethnobotanist and herbalist committed to reconnecting people with the healing wisdom of plants.
